Sara Esturillo

Sara Esturillo is an internationally experienced harpist and educator with outstanding musical training and extensive practical experience.

She holds advanced degrees, including a concert exam from the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, a master’s degree in music education, a master’s degree in performance and chamber music from the Norwegian Academy of Music, and a bachelor’s degree in music from the Basque Country School of Music (Musikene).

From 2022 to 2025, Sara held a contract as principal harpist at the Frankfurt Opera (Frankfurt Opera and Museum Orchestra). She has also gained extensive experience as a freelancer with renowned orchestras such as the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig, the Hessischer Rundfunk Symphony Orchestra, and others.

Sara Esturillo

Sara is also active as a soloist and chamber musician on national and international stages. She has performed solo and chamber music concerts with orchestras such as the Bergen Symphony Orchestra, the Málaga Symphony Orchestra, the Murcia Symphony Orchestra, and the Spanish Radio Orchestra. She also regularly performs at festivals such as the Ostrava Contemporary Music Festival, the Youth Talent Festival in Spain, the Roros Chamber Music Festival with musicians of the Berlin Philharmonic, and at various contemporary music festivals in the USA. She continues to actively pursue this solo and chamber music career, characterized by a diverse repertoire and collaborations with various ensembles.

Awards and honors

Sara has received numerous awards for her exceptional musical talent. Her most notable honors include first prize at the Vienna International Music Competition in the Virtuoso Solo category, second prize at the North Chamber Music International Competition in the Duo category, and the Soloist Prize of the Bergen Symphony Orchestra. She has also won prizes at the Harp Congress Mock Audition Competition, received two scholarships from the Fundación Galindo in Spain, first prize at the Intercentros Melómano Competition, and first prize at the Francisco Salzillo National Chamber Music Competition. At a young age, she was a multiple prizewinner at the ARPAPLUS International Harp Competition in Spain.

Gabriele Mastrototaro

As a guest flutist, he has performed with renowned orchestras in Germany and Italy, including the SWR Symphony Orchestra, Staatsorchester Stuttgart, Oper Frankfurt, and LaFil – Philharmonic Orchestra of Milan. He also toured Europe with the Peace Orchestra Project alongside pianist Martha Argerich.

Gabriele has a special passion for contemporary music and has premiered over twenty works. He collaborates with ensembles such as Ensemble Modern, Studio MusikFabrik, and Ton-Art Ensemble, and also performs as a soloist with works by Bach, Taffanel, and Busoni. His achievements have been recognized with awards including the Angelo Persichilli Flute Competition in Rome and the Liverpool International Flute Competition.

María Buitrago López

Originally from Murcia, Spain, María Buitrago López began her musical education at the Conservatorio Maestro Gómez Villa in Cieza and later earned her Bachelor’s degree in Clarinet Performance from the Conservatorio Superior de Música Manuel Massotti Littel in Murcia. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main under the guidance of Professor Laura Ruiz Ferreres. Her experience includes performances with the HfMDK Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michael Sanderling and Florian Lohmann, as well as numerous chamber music appearances. In 2023, she founded a wind quintet and recorded Fantasía para quinteto de viento by Pedro Ortiz.

María’s artistic development has been enriched through masterclasses with renowned clarinetists such as José Franch-Ballester, Arno Piters, Ausiàs Garrigós, Tomaž Močilnik, Bettine Faiss, and others. Known for her critical thinking, collaborative spirit, and openness to new ideas, she combines a strong classical foundation with an evolving and versatile musical voice.

María Buitrago López

Catalina is an internationally experienced pianist and chamber musician who began her career in Chile. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at the Conservatorio Superior de Castilla y León in Spain and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Chamber Music at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, supported by the Germany Scholarship and Live Music Now. As a soloist and with her chamber music project Varua Dúo (saxophone and piano), she has performed in concert halls across Chile, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, and Colombia. She has received multiple national and international awards and attended masterclasses with renowned pianists. In addition to classical performances, she is active in educational programs and motivational talks, bringing music to a wider audience.

Jacopo Giovani

Described by Piano News as “poetic and full of temperament” and praised by Dame Imogen Cooper as “fantastic, beautifully controlled, full of wit and color,” Jacopo is currently studying with Prof. Martínez Mehner in Cologne. He previously trained at the University of Music in Hanover under Prof. Bernd Goetzke.

Jacopo has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including Alte Oper Frankfurt, Carnegie Hall in New York, and Severance Hall in Cleveland, and is a regular guest at major European festivals such as the Festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Rheingau Music Festival. As a passionate chamber musician, he performs in duos, trios, and with his ensemble, the Elster Trio, with which he won the Rheingau Music Festival Promotion Prize and the silver medal at the Schumann Competition in Frankfurt.

María Cardiel

María Cardiel is a versatile violinist with a repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music. She is a member of the renowned National Youth Orchestra of Spain and currently concertmaster of the Extremadura Youth Orchestra. As a chamber musician, she won first prize at the Don Juan de Borbón Interpretation Competition and has performed in major concert halls in Spain and abroad, including the Teatro Real Madrid, the Auditorio Nacional, the Kurhaus Wiesbaden, and the Konzerthaus Berlin.

María has played under renowned conductors such as Vasily Petrenko, Heras Casado, and Andrés Salado and is a member of several youth orchestras. She studied at the Segovia Conservatory and with Sergei Teslja at the Katarina Gurska Center for Advanced Music Education in Madrid, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in solo performance. She regularly participates in masterclasses with internationally acclaimed professors and shares her valuable teaching experience with her students.

Violeta Samon

Violeta is a passionate opera singer with extensive international experience. She completed her Bachelor and Master in Opera Singing at the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Music Academy in Kyiv and is currently studying Concert Singing at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts.

With years of stage experience in Germany and Ukraine, she introduces students to both classical techniques and modern approaches to vocal training. Her multilingual skills in Ukrainian, German, and English allow for personalized and flexible teaching.

Beyond music, she enjoys culture, travel, and communication – and, of course, coffee! Her lessons are characterized by versatility, dedication, and genuine enthusiasm for music.
